Braga Group S.p.A. Measures Its Environmental Footprint: 2025 GHG Inventory Published

Braga Group S.p.A., a leader Company in the production of wooden doors, has published its 2025 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory. The report was prepared in compliance with the GHG Protocol – Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, the leading international framework for emissions accounting.

In a world where the climate emergency demands increasing corporate responsibility, it is essential for companies to measure, monitor, and report their environmental impact. In line with this commitment, Braga S.p.A., technically supported by Rete Clima, conducted a detailed mapping of its emissions, categorized according to the three scopes defined by the GHG Protocol:

Scope 1: Direct emissions generated by company operations.

Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the consumption of electricity.

Scope 3: Indirect emissions from the value chain and other sources.

This emissions report covers all the Group’s locations, including not only the headquarters in Casalmaggiore (CR) but also its production and logistics units in Scandolara Ravara (CR), Breda di Piave (TV), Brugnera (PN), Cessalto (TV), Assoro (EN), Montichiari (BS), and Caronno Pertusella (VA).

This comprehensive approach provides a full picture of the Braga Group S.p.A. environmental impact.

Braga Group's 2025 Carbon Footprint Data

Scope 1 | Direct Emissions:

1.617,00

tonnes of CO₂ equivalent (tCO₂e), representing 2,29% of the total. These are primarily attributed to the combustion of natural gas, biomass, and fuel for company vehicles.

Scope 2 | Indirect Emissions from Electricity:

4.458,71

tCO₂e (6,31%), calculated using the location-based approach and including Guarantees of Origin for 1.894 MWh from renewable sources.

Scope 3 | Indirect Emissions from the Value Chain and Other Sources:

64.592,97

tCO₂e (91,40%). The most significant component is the purchase of goods and services (Category 1), which generates 50.759,49 tCO₂e, or 71,83% of total emissions.

Overall, the Group's total GHG emissions for 2025 amount to 70.668,69 tCO₂e.

A Concrete Commitment to the Future

While these environmental KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are primarily indicative for this first year, they will serve as a solid foundation for monitoring the evolution of GHG emissions and for a more accurate evaluation of the Group’s environmental performance in the future, especially in relation to the Corporate Footprint Overview.
These indicators will also be a fundamental tool for transparent and credible communication with all stakeholders.
