Wood pellet manufacturing
Not only doors, but also pellet manufacturing
Braga company is a leading wood pellets manufacturer, has always been sensitive to recycling and respect for the environment. Pellet is a green fuel that does not come from the knocking down of trees, but from the processing of virgin wooden scrapes (mainly sawdust and woodchips) without glues and other foreign agents. This material is given a new lease of life. Indeed, it is pressed into small cylinders on specific machines and it is packed in bags.
The process of these wood scrapes presses the material, which passes through a die that transforms it in long wires that are then cut to size and cooled in the environment. The pressing acts on wood, removing the moisture and transforming the ligning into a natural glue that covers the cellulose, making the product rigid. The pressing also provides twice heat value of the single unprocessed wood fuel, resulting in high-yield fuel with less material.
Braga is leader in wood pellet manufacturing with continuous cycle plants.
The wooden scrapes we use come from the sawmill processing of Braga Group companies. The wood used to produce wood pellet follows stricts protocols, from planting to the final process, and it is managed directly by Braga Group, in full compliance with the environment. In addition, our pellet is Certified in class A1 respecting the normative UNI EN ISO 17225-2, according to the European standard En Plus.
